Commitment is goal #1
Few weeks ago we talked about the goal setting form. Some of the goals that are usually set are physical. Such as, “I want to lose weight”, “I want to lose inches on my thighs,” etc
But for me the number one goal is: “I want to establish my new active routine.”
First of all, only when the routine is established and you show up consistently can we start to see physical results.
Commitment is the key to all our issues. When I see in the initial goal setting meeting that the first goal is the personal commitment, I am already proud of the student and quite sure that they will find success in the Giorgia fitMindset program.
Filling in the goals setting is specifically for you. It means signing a contract to create the space to take care of yourself.
Writing down your thoughts and needs makes them real and important. It’s useful in order to learn how to prioritize and start to consider them for what they are for you.
That’s the first goal to reach, and that's the first barrier that Giorgia fitMindset will help you to break.
Constantly In touch
❤ Giorgia fitMindset's favorite sentence is ⁉️“How are you?” Because, only after a positive answer (or a discussion of how to help with a negative one!) we can start to talk about working out.
📲 WhatsApp is our fast communication method. The online students receive a message if they are late to Zoom (“Coming?”) while the offline students get one message in the middle of the week (“How is the week going?”) and one at the end of the week (“Are you on track with the program?”).
💌On top of these basic check ins, there are different messages based on each students’ state of body and mind.
🙇♀️ I send reminders about the stretching session, checking in on a particular workout or exercise, extra support in low periods, and even silence when needed.
🔴For those who commit and believe in the active journey, I am available 24/7.
🚩It’s a pleasure for me to receive messages all day, everyday, whether they are long reports of the week or just quick questions about a movement that isn’t working.
📝Changing habits and routine doesn’t take just a few days, but requires a lot of perseverance. In order to provide the keys for a successful established long-lasting active routine, I want to be there for my students for every step.
