😍 What’s your favorite sport❓️
🤯 Even if it should be a very easy question, I have never been able to answer this easily.
🥋 Judo has been more than just a sport to me, and when I started to see the end for various reasons such as age, mindset, age, pregnancy, and other life events, I had such a hard time imagining life without it.
🏐 Though no other sport will ever compare to Judo, beach volleyball has all the attributes to be another favorite for me.
🏖 I started to play beach volleyball in 2011 with my college friends.
👨👩👧👧 The first barrier was to learn how to play in a team. I remember the last match of my first tournament: we were losing, I felt so useless because I was not good enough, and I left the field. It was such a shame! We then introduced beach volleyball to our Judo friends, colleagues, and everyone else who would listen, which is when we started to spend our whole summers playing.
💯Last two summers, back in Italy, we played every Monday evening and it was such an amazing routine. I love it! It’s a very intense sport, not extremely technical, and because it’s a team sport it’s a good way to meet new friends.
There's something truly magical about the combination of sand, sun, and the rhythmic sound of a volleyball being spiked over the net. Beach volleyball offers a unique experience that goes beyond just a sport—it's a lifestyle and a source of incredible physical and mental benefits.
