Why do you promote an active lifestyle?  

Today, I am not going to talk about all the cardiovascular benefits of being active, but instead I would like to explain how I made sharing my passion for wellness my career.

I spent years and years training, in my sport, and then decided to become a nurse. Initially, I had never really seen a connection between those two passions. However, once starting GfM, I started to realize how my training as a nurse makes me more than just a group workout leader - my passion lies in offering my support to teach how to take care of ourselves in an active way. 

Theoretically, everyone knows that moving their body is important, but it’s not easy after years of inactivity. That’s why I aim to be there step by step to help create space in your personal life to make moving your body a priority and help you feel the satisfaction of accomplishment and feeling good.

The fitMindset Sticks

Even for champions, it is not always easy to achieve their personal goals, and they have to fight their personal demons along the way just like the rest of us. Just as there are in life, there are ups and downs in our active routine. This is totally reasonable and understandable! But we have to keep in mind the main reason we need to exercise and remain active. We have learned that following our GfM program leads us to a fitMindset, a better state of mind in which we’re listening to our body and mind's needs. 

It's normal to have a hard time sticking to the routine, but the discipline and perseverance to we show up is essential in our lives.

It could be everyday, 3, or 2 days a week but once you fall in love with it you won’t be able to go without it

Everyone could exercise on your own, but how, where, when? The added benefit of GfM is the support of the community, the well-organized program, and the leader who motivates you when you are in need.

It's not a “quick fix” to get back in shape, but instead it's a journey that teaches you to listen to your own needs and learn to address and satisfy them. 

Your needs will change over time, but your process of listening to them and adapting to them should not. 

That's why every 3 months we reset our goals and commitment. It is a way to take our time to reflect and consciously decide what we are looking for in an active routine.

We can increase or slow down the intensity, but the active routine has become our way to go.
