I commit to myself

It’s committing time

The definition of commitment is the state or quality of being dedicated to a cause or activity.

Commitment is one of the cornerstones at Giorgia fitMindset. Quarterly or Monthly everyone is asked to periodically renew their commitment based on their personal needs. The Giorgia fitMindset coaching program aims to help students figure out their right commitment. Committing to an active routine is not only a dedication to the workouts but mainly a devotion to ourselves.

Why

Committing is the only way to make a dream turn into a reality. If you would like to change, to become more active, to establish a workout routine, the only way is committing. No one likes change, no one likes suffering and sweating, but it makes you happier in the long-run and that’s why it’s worth it. Another definition of commitment is: an engagement or obligation that restricts freedom of action. It seems pretty harsh, but actually it’s the reason commitment brings you to success. “Restrict your freedom of action” means stop overthinking, plan once, and act in only one direction, following your commitment.

Because

The commitment is one of the most important aspects of Giorgia fitMindset. It’s one of the qualities that makes this program different from every gym or fitness program.

In my opinion, commitment is the only way to achieve my goals. If I commit, my life becomes easier, more balanced and I can face my days smiling. Not all the commitments that I set are extremely enjoyable or for pleasure but all of them follow the same rule: looking for my serenity!

When my commitment is set I don’t have any more excuses for not showing up.

My commitment is in my schedule and if I don’t show up I can’t feel the accomplishment of having made it. The accomplishment is that magic power that leads people to have more self-esteem, less stress, and increased self-knowledge and awareness.

Priority

Life is tough, I know! Unfortunately, we can not do everything we would like to do. I think someone taught me that a long time ago. :) Before setting a commitment, we need to identify our priorities. It’s usually pretty hard to narrow them down if you are an ambitious person, and it’s complicated to learn to listen to ourselves. Nowadays, society puts a lot of external pressure on work, career, parenting, etc. We are asked to succeed in life in every way, and if we don’t pay attention and set boundaries for ourselves we get lost in these oceans of requirements and expectations.

I can work with you to help manage your barriers to making a commitment, but first you need to listen to yourself and identify your priorities.
